About La Case Du Pecheur

La Case du Pêcheur invites you and your loved ones for an intimate retreat amongst the breathtaking mountain landscapes. In the southeast of Mauritius, by the small village of Anse Bambous, lies a rustic guest house during a picturesque nature setting right by a river mouth and on the ocean.

Located in an unspoilt natural environment, La Case du Pecheur offers guests a real break from civilisation whilst providing comfortable and authentic lodging.

The restaurant with an adjoining bar offers guests a gourmet choice of oysters, crabs, and lobster, fresh from the pond and prepared lovingly in local style. There are also an array of vegetarian dishes and desserts available on the menu. From a continental breakfast to the delicious dinner, the mouthwatering dishes are bound to please your taste buds.

Restaurant

With its thatch roof and all-wood construction, the restaurant offers a view of the sea and the Barachois. It offers a la carte lunch and supper options that include fresh seafood, classic Creole fare, and regional specialties. Together with a variety of vegetarian dishes and sweets, the restaurant, which has an adjacent bar, serves up a gourmet selection of freshly caught oysters, crabs and lobster that are prepared with care and in the traditional manner.

Notes:

• Hotels will not allow slippers and shorts during dinner.
• A refundable deposit may be requested by the hotel upon check in
